Anyone with experience that can give me good advice on equipment?  Going into my second trip to Algonquin (7 days in the wilderness), I need lightweight gear that performs well.  I will not likely see temperatures lower than 50 degrees.  Versatile equipment is preferred because I do other lower intensity camping as well.

I want to buy the following equipment.  Please recommend the brands I should look into to find the best equipment available.  Of course I'm interested in value, but function is number one.  Thus far I think Exped is a great fit for me.

Tent
Backpack
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad/mattress

These are the things that make a trip cushy or rough.  I am nearing 40, so I do appreciate a bit of comfort in my middle age years.  Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I have always been a coleman person. I use their products. I find it is a right fit for me.
