Just started working for a company that makes sleeping bags....what bugs you about your current sleeping bag? What features would you like to see added or changed?  Thanks for your input!

I do not have one, since we usually do family camping now we have air matresses. With that said, it used to bother me that they seemed a little too hot for summer use.

I would like to see the rectangle bags come out with the extra cloth at the head for the pillow to rest on and when the bag is folded that cloth goes around the bag to help pretect it.

Rectangular children's sleeping bags that have at least a rating below 25 degrees.  I don't plan to take my kids out when the temps are that cold but do want them to have bags that keep them warmer than mine will.  Let's face it 99% of kids bags are only rated for temps above 50 degrees.  It can easily drop below that on summer nights out on the coast.  We had to buy youth sleeping bags for our toddlers because there is only ONE company making bags rated low enough - they are made for tweens and as such they are twice as long as what we needed ( I folded the bottom back up and under them so the kids get a little more padding too.)

Rectangular bags are preferred for toddlers because little kids move around a LOT during the night and freak-out if too confined in a tied sleeping bag.

Liners!  We added velcro to the inside edges so we can attach sheets to the kids bags.  Sheets are much easier to clean than sleeping bags - who knows of any kids that stay clean on a weekend camping?!?!  With the liners I only have to clean their bags once a season, typically.
