Hi! Were going to  the beach this summer and was wondering if anyone had advice on what we should take on a 2mile bike ride from our campsite...I'm kind of spoiled to hotels...LOL...

Water bottle, Snack bars, Sun screen, Digital camera.
A good towel, if y'all go into the water.   Cool

A 2-mile ride isn't too far, only about a 10-15 minute ride so you don't need to pack a ton, that will only weigh you down for no reason. If you're biking and spending the day out and about then each person should have at least a liter of water, high energy foods (nuts, trail mix, pb&j, energy bars, etc). Sunscreen is a must and even better wear a hat or visor. I love beach camping... have a great time!

Avoid sugary snacks that won't keep you energized for long and get you cranky and tired: candy, fruit, some "energy bars", sodas, you get the picture.

Harris Beach. It is on the southern third of the Oregon Coast and it is absolutely beautiful. It is about as close to the beach as you can get. Also, remember there are no private beaches in Oregon! The one disclaimer is that it fills up fast,

How often do you ride? 2 miles could be a long ride or a not even break a sweat.

Is this on a loop or a destination? If so you may want a lock if you are riding into town.

On the coast, I'd bring a camera for sure.
