Missouri camper here

I am new to this forum, as you can tell, and wish to introduce my self.

My wife and I basically camp in southern Missouri, and like to do a little trout fishing when the opportunity presents itself. Have been to other states but really appreciate the wonderful park system this state offers. 1/8 of 1 percent sales tax has provided us with the best system in the nation.

Here's a pic of a May camp trip with some friends to Hawn State Park, MO (about 1 hour plus south of St Louis). Hit the weekend just right as the dogwoods were in full bloom. Hope you enjoy the photo as we really enjoyed the trip.

One of are favorites is Meramec State Park.

Close to home, kids get to swim, fish and play.

We are ready to go, but this weather is crazy.

If we could catch a few days like we had Sunday it would be great.
