Hi all!  I'm Alicia, Matt's wife & Milo's mom.  We live in central Indiana and camp mostly within an hour or so of home.  We have a small Rookwood pop-up camper, but are going to be selling it after this season, hopefully moving up into a Class C before next summer.

Hope to join in the chatter around here.  Looks like you have a small group, but I'm sure it will catch on.  Wink

Hi, Alicia

Welcome to camping chatter, I'm Jennifer, Dave's wife and Katie & Isabelle mom.  We are in southern IL right outside of St. Louis, Mo.
We usually camp about the same as you an hour or so from home, we just went camping last week at Merrimac State Park, MO.  We to have Jayco Pop-up and eventually, money allowing would like to upgrade too.  Where do you usually camp is it a state park?

Yep.  Usually we head for the state parks.  Our last trip (about 3 weeks ago) was to Leiber SRA, near Cataract Lake.  In September we're heading to Summit Lake, out east of Indianapolis.  And in October, we've held a spot at Whitewater Memorial Park, closer to the Ohio border.

We'd love to do Merrimac sometime.  My husband and I have actually vacationed in the area (pre-kid era), but have never camped.  It's beautiful out that way.

Nice to meet you, Jennifer.  Thanks for the welcome.

Do you have favorite place?  So far the best place we have been is Merrimac, but we haven't really been to many place's, since having kids and a camper.  I've been to Alley Springs, Mammoth Cave,Johnson Shut-Ins, Elephant Rock and Land Between the Lakes ( most before we had the kids).  Do you have a place to recommend in Indiana?  Because we are not to far away from Indiana.  We plan on going to Arkansas next season to go mining for diamonds, it looks really fun and I hope I find one Shocked, there's a really good blog about the place, on the sister site
Thecampinglifestyle.com, check it out when you can.
