How many of ya get into watching " SURVIVORMAN" with Les Stroud ? It's one of the few shows worth watching on TV. Lots of good info on outdoor living and surviving just about anything. I'd like to take a year and get lost in the wilderness and test my survival instincts. I feel I could acclimate to this life fairly quickly. I visit the Survivorman website and participate in the forum from time to time. As a matter of fact, I think I'll head over there now. Check it out... Wink You'll have to go thru the "Discovery Channel" website to access it.

Thats him, I think he brings a guitar with him once in awhile. I heard he's taking a break and not making any new episodes for awhile.I like his show better than Man VS Wild, Les is more realistic about survival. Bear Grylls isn't the average person. I know I won't be climbing waterfalls and walking under glaciers to seek rescue.

Les Stroud is the man!  He has some survivor videos he made in addition to his show.  I think you can find them at LesStroud.ca.  Bear Grylls can be entertaining but hes teaching you how to die.

I agree they have skills which could verywell save their bacon if stranded out in the wild country
like those Japanese soldiers that were discovered on a few of the Flipino Islands.
