Haha - I totally agree about the alarm clock!  Beyond that this is a pretty good list.  I hate the feeling of pulling away and feeling like I forgot something that I'm really going to want to have.  Seems like I never figure that out until its too late and at that point Wal-Mart isn't an option!  I try to keep as much stuff as possible together in the garage from trip to trip so there isn't too much of a chance of forgetting it.

I agree, a pretty complete list, perhaps abit too much for primitive, but as far as a State or Federal  Park Campground, WO's list contains just about everything we would bring.

We always bring a charcoal grill.

Would you care if I used this checklist in one of my monthly newsletters?

That would be fine. Just please mention us after the list. Something like "Provided by The Wacky Otter www.wackyotter.com". Much appreciated.

I think this is a great list.  One thing to add is the Amazing Wilderness Camp Chair.  Comfort is essential to enjoying a hiking or camping trip, so I always make sure I bring one with me.  Its an easy to setup, extremely small and lightweight chair that is also amazingly comfortable!

You can learn how to make one, or buy one from: http://canada-camps.ca/product

So I think it should be on everyone's camp list Smiley
