Just thought I would see if anyone has plans for this weekend and where they are going.  Thought I would enjoy hearing other peoples stories since I can't go this weekend...   Sad

So lets hear it!!!      Grin

Just got back from Alley Springs, MO on Tue.

We are leaving Monday for Meramec State Park, MO for 4 nights.

Kids go back to school in a month so we have to get all the camping in we can before the summer ends.

Headed for Houston Recreation Area in Bankhead National Forest as soon as I can get away from work tomorrow (7-20). Weather guy predicting possible afternoon thunderstorms but after that a good weekend. Hi's in upper 80's lows in low 60's. A pleasent change from last couple of times I've been.

well I quess camping is over now, school and all.  But many churches and community groups do provide ongoing excursions. I may be going up to cedar Falls at the end of the month.

We are going to sneak in at least one more trip next week.  It may be a little chilly but we are going, will just need to bring extra blankets.

Dave, I was wanting to do the same but just don't think I will have enough time to put one together.
I might just do a local spot but I really wanted to go to Mammouth Lakes.

None for me :/.  I think I need an extended weekend to do some camping.  All that packing and setting up requires time and I am a little rusty.  I need to get my camping groove back on Smiley

We made four trips this summer.  We will be going again next weekend, we were going to leave today, but had to stay in town to work.

To answer an earlier post- We live in Illinois, US.  When we go there is four of us wife and 2 daughters.  My daughters are 1 and 6.

Wooow 4 already ? And that only this summer. You are really a fanatic Wink

Isn't the daughter of 1 too young ? I just wonder because isn't it a bit time-consuming ? Of course you are not alone.

Let me know...

We camped at Summit Lake a couple of weeks ago, and will be going to Whitewater Memorial State Park (both in Indiana) the first weekend of October.  That'll do it for us this year.  A total of four for the year.  Not as many as we'd have liked, but we're doing some work on our house that's taking up most of our weekends.

I know what you mean. I also have a house, it is always something. Sometimes are the costs too high to be able to get some vacation Sad
