I recently bought the northwest territory double shower because of the week long trip I am taking. However, I am wondering if anyone had an opinion of whether or not this type of equipment works well.

Sorry I don't have good news for you!

My personal experience with a camp shower was not very good.  The water did not get too warm - even though we left it in the sun as the directions indicated.  Also, it was tough to get the water to flow from the little spout thing.

That said, I know some people who have really liked them.

I'd suggest giving it a try at home before you pack it along with you!

Good luck.  Smiley

thanks for the heads up. I did setup the shower but have not yet purchased the shower bag. If the waters cold, then its cold, I will be camping in july. But i do appreciate the feedback.

I also own the Northwest Territory double shower and have nothing but good things to say about it.  I purchased it from Kmart last year and thought the same thing you're thinking....do I really need this?  It is easy to set up, the extra room works great for a changing room, and it supports a 5 gal. Coleman camp shower.  I would say that it is definitely a must for a week long camping trip.  As far as getting warm water, if you are camping in July and you are using the Coleman camp shower or something similar you shouldn't have any trouble.  Set it out on the picnic table in the sun, enjoy the day's activities and in the early afternoon/evening the water will be ready for a warm shower.  Hope this helps!!!

My wife likes the Northwest Territory double shower mostly because of the changing room--she feels she has at least a little privacy from the kids. Great idea about putting the water in the sun all day to warm it up for a hot shower.

thank you for the feedback, I did set it up, it has a really funny cris-cross thing going on in order to support the weight of the shower bag. But it is good to know that its a decent product because there really wasn't too many other options for showing.
