Morris Island, SC

Out of all places, my favorite camp site is just a 45 minute kayak paddle away. The back side of this island is amazing. On our last camping trip we saw a sea turtle, horseshoe crabs walking around and found dozens of Megaladon sharks teeth that were the size of my palm. Plus as a part of civil war history, this island has old canon ball shells and relics buried into its eroding sides.

Really a great and beautiful place to be. Watch the sunset fall behind the lighthouse in the distance and cookout by the campfire with wild palm trees lining the beaches.
