Hi everyone, my names Steve. This is my first post on
camping chatter, normally I tent to stick with the main camping forums within Australia, but I thought I'd branch out a little further a field to see if I can pick up a few more tricks.
Love to get out as much as possible, not always possible but we get out as much as possible. Luckily here in Aus, there's no shortage of camping spots.
Before our daughter came onto the scene, the wife and I were happy to rough it in our tent, but now the little one comes along, we updated our means of accomodation with a Camper Trailer I put together over 12 months. Keeps the nasties out and a few mod cons thrown in as well.
Have just come back from a 2 week trip from the middle of Australia where we cooked ourselves within an inch of our lives. Warmest day was 44 deg C (111 deg F).
Nice to have found an international camping community, hoping to find a few tricks and may even shed some of my own
