I'd like to share a bit of info about a state park my family has enjoyed.

Camp Creek State Park offers three camping areas.  One is a primitive tent camping area.  It is in a beautifully shaded area beside a creek and is very private.  The only drawback is pit toilets!  The 2nd area is designed for RVs/campers but tent-camping is allowed as well.  These sites have electric and water hook-ups.  Bath houses with heated showers are available in this area.  There is no shade in this portion, however.  The 3rd camping area is designed for campers who bring their horses along.

Camp Creek contains, as the name implies, a beautiful winding creek.  It offers many trails along the creek and through the woods.  You can hike along the creek to a beautiful area with a waterfall and a pool for fishing and wading.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend Camp Creek State Park!

Facilities were very clean and the camping area was very well maintained. Visited in mid-October, the falls were flowing and the deer abundant. The camp manager was very accomodating and both a pleasure to work with and visit with. Hope to be back again this year
